Being the most discussed gadget of the past year, hoverboards are a fantastic way of being out and about. However, recently many concerns have been raised about the safety of having one in the house, and if you are thinking of getting one in the nearest future, we would like to resolve your doubts.
There have been some reports about hoverboards catching on fire. These fires have been linked to hoverboards batteries, and many of the accidents occurred while the owner was charging the battery. In most of the cases, the issue was a bad quality of the battery and it’s being not compatible with the charger.
In our products, we use the high-quality lithium battery [ just like the one in your smartphone and laptop]. Compatibility and safety of chargers and battery packs of our hoverboards have been tested and proven to be safe. We have been performing extensive product safety tests at our factory [, which included leaving hoverboard charging for a long period of time, riding it right before or after charging, etc]. But more importantly, U.S. Northbrook-based Underwriters Laboratories, or UL for short, leading global safety science organisation, that is providing product safety testing and certification, have tested our chargers and batteries, and presented our factory with UL certificates for both. Just look for the UL label on our product!
Buying our hoverboard you are not only getting a chance of a fun way to short-distance commute, good warranty and responsive customer service backing up, but also a UL-certified charger and battery.
*Compatibility of chargers and battery packs of our hoverboards has been tested and proven to be safe, however, we still advise against overcharging the hoverboard.
*Before commuting on a hoverboard, we do suggest you to check with local laws, since there are some places where hoverboards are banned or illegal.
